What is it?This is an area to manage your [Files] that are to be associated with your website. From this section you can [Browse], [Search], [Upload] and [Delete] any or all of the [Files] on your website. Some examples of files that can be used in this section: Zip file (.zip), Rar file (.rar), PDF document (.pdf), Mp3 (.mp3), Word doc (.doc), Text file (.txt) etc – simply put a [File] is anything other than [Text] or [Images] that you would like to include, and make available to download from your website. BrowseVia the [Browse] section you can browse through the [Files] that are associated with your website. Any [Files] that you [Upload] will be displayed in this section. You can also [Download] a file to view it on your computer and [Delete] the [File] if it is surplus to requirements. SearchVia the [Search] section you can search through the [Files] names that have been uploaded to your website. Example: to search for [File] that has been uploaded, you would click the tab marked [Search]. Via the field provided you would enter a search term, for instance LOGO, and then click the [Submit] button to begin the search. Any results that match the search term LOGO will then be displayed. UploadVia the [Upload] section you can [upload] each [File] to your website. Engine CodeThe [Engine Code] is the code that is assigned to each [File] that you upload. To utilize a [File] that has been uploaded, onto your [page] - simply select the entire filename (Example: examplefile.zip ), [copy] and [paste] it into the defined page area. If you want the [File] to be displayed before a paragraph of text, simply [cut] and [paste] the filename (Example: examplefile.zip ) at the start of the paragraph of text on your page. After you have inputted your [Files] onto the page, click the [Save Changes] button to confirm your choices and [Save] your changes. This is on the same line of a [File] that isn’t required anymore. |
